Services
Gallium Tutoring provides virtual, one-on-one tutoring in STEM subjects, including mathematics and chemistry. Tutoring services are supplemental and do not replace formal education, institutional instruction, or academic advising.
Scheduling and Time Zone
All sessions are scheduled in Eastern Standard Time (EST). Clients are responsible for booking and attending sessions in the correct time zone. Sessions may be booked up to 100 days in advance.
Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Sessions are not confirmed until payment is received.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Clients may cancel or reschedule sessions with at least 24 hours notice.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with fewer than 24 hours before the scheduled session time are non-refundable and will not be rescheduled.
Late and No-Show Policy
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals do not extend the session and will count toward the booked time.
A session is considered a no-show if the client has not arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without prior communication. No-shows are non-refundable and will not be rescheduled.
Technology Requirements
Sessions are conducted online. Clients are responsible for ensuring access to a stable internet connection and a functioning device.
Technical issues on the client side, including internet connectivity problems, do not qualify for refunds, cancellations, or rescheduling within the 24-hour cancellation window.
Session Participation
Sessions are intended for the registered student only. No additional individuals may attend or participate in sessions without prior knowledge and consent from Gallium Tutoring.
Gallium Tutoring reserves the right to terminate a session without refund if this condition is not met or if conduct is deemed inappropriate.
Camera Policy
Gallium Tutoring sessions are typically conducted without camera, except during initial meetings or where otherwise agreed.
Intellectual Property
All materials provided during tutoring sessions are the intellectual property of Gallium Tutoring and are for personal educational use only. These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without prior written consent. Students are not allowed to record sessions without consent.
Disclaimer of Results
Gallium Tutoring does not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grades, or performance improvements. Results depend on multiple factors, including student participation and effort.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gallium Tutoring shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services.

Privacy
Client information is collected and used solely for the purpose of scheduling, communication, and service delivery. For clients under the age of 18, parental or guardian consent may be required.
Termination
Gallium Tutoring reserves the right to refuse or terminate services at its discretion in cases of policy violations, misuse of services, or inappropriate behaviour at any point.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Updates
Gallium Tutoring reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
